Meet Carly

Hi there,

I am so glad you are here. Planning a wedding is one of the most exciting seasons of your life, and I want you to know that you are not meant to do it alone. I am Carly, the planner behind Daisy Mae Events, and my greatest joy is helping couples feel supported, understood, and genuinely excited throughout this entire journey.

My background is rooted in hospitality, with a degree from Coastal Carolina and years of hands on coordination at the Mountain Top Resort in Vermont. Those experiences taught me how to stay calm in the busiest moments, notice the details that others may miss, and create celebrations that feel effortless yet incredibly meaningful. Most importantly, they taught me how to be fully present for my couples, from the very first conversation to the final send off.

Daisy Mae Events is named in honor of my Grandma Daisy. She was the heartbeat of every room and never passed up a chance to dance or celebrate. Her joyful spirit continues to guide me in every wedding I plan. My goal is to bring that same warmth, energy, and authenticity to your day so that your celebration reflects who you are and the love you share.

What I want you to know is this: I am here for you. To listen to your vision, to calm the chaos, to handle the unexpected, and to give you the freedom to savor every beautiful moment. I believe wedding planning should feel fun and full of excitement, not stressful or overwhelming. My role is to make sure you feel supported and confident every step of the way.

When I am not planning weddings, you can usually find me exploring Vermont, floating on Lake Bomoseen, playing softball, or watching Law and Order SVU. I live in Rutland with my boyfriend Nick and my close knit family, who inspire me daily to put love and intention into everything I do.
